Frederick D. Sapp. Age 66, formerly of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home in Henderson, Nevada on September 9, 2009. He was a graduate of E.C. Roosevelt and a retiree from the East Chicago Housing Authority. He is survived by two daughters: Tracey (Rev. Clarence) Peak of Moreno Valley, California and Talaya Sapp of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters: Elder Vivian Green of Hammond, Indiana and Marietta (Otis) Bardley of Henderson, Nevada; three brothers: Alvin (Mary) Frith of Orange Park, Florida, Cleveland Sapp and Charles Frith, of East Chicago, Indiana; three grandchildren: Bethany, Isaiah, and Tre' Peak, of Moreno Valley, California; and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held in Henderson, Nevada, on September 15, 2009 at Davis Funeral Home, the Rev. Diane Drach-Meinel of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church officiated. A private family memorial will be held in the Northwest Indiana area on September 26, 2009.
