Zachary Myers, of Delaware, Ohio was a 2006 graduate of Delaware Hayes High School. Stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska as a Military Police Officer, assigned to the 545th Military Police Company, Arctic Military Police Battalion. Zach was one of three soldiers killed on September 8, 2009 near Baji, Iraq when an IED exploded. He was scheduled to come home just a few days later for a 2 week leave.
He is survived by his Mother- Tonya Latto, Father- Jerry Myers & Step-Mother, Penny along with 2 brothers and a wife, Megan and their 14 month old daughter, Rowen.
