Even though I didnt know Mr. Sullivan very long, I do have fond memories of him. One of my favoriets is when he came down to Texas to visit. It had to have only been his second night here, mind you his daughter Shana is not an early bird. It mustve only been around 7 or 8 in the morning.I smell breakfast cooking, ohh it smelled so good!!  I started waking up, then I remember Mr. Sullivan lightly knockin on the door and saying 'wake up, wake up, wake up!'. Shana started moving around a little bit, waking up. He had made us breakfast AND washed the dishes!! I was soo happy because usually I did that. But it gave me a break. Shana finally got up and we ate breakfast. While we were eatin he tells us what he would like to do,and then jokinling said he was ready to go right then.I started laughing. I think he made breakfast for us a couple of times when he came to visit, he was probally bribing us to wake up and get up. But that was 1 good bribe! Because that man could cook!! He also made the best brisket!!! I never had brisket soooo tender!!!
