I watched as she remained strong
Even though her body was weak
As she whispered words of encouragement
At times when she could hardly speak
As she remained independent in her own right
This woman had fight
A fight so deep down in her belly
But, the whole world could see
A fight that would be passed on
From generation to generation
For God's people to see
Thats's why God led her to be
The woman she so desired to be
A woman of purpose
A woman of value
A phenomenal woman was she
A woman, that all woman
Would look up to
And desire to be
So, thank you grandma
And because of you
My faith grew
And without faith
I dont' know what anyone of us
Would do
Without you!
