Although I did not know Dr. Joyce Y Parker personally, I know her husband Kenneth. I am a Washingtonian and a Unionite. I heard of her and her ministry, dedication, work, and gifts from God. I was so sorry to hear of the news that she had recently passed. I know that she will be missed from among us but she will be ever present before the true and living God. Sshe has left us with so much joy and wonderful memories that will live in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. My love and continuous prayers go out to Kenneth and the rest of the Parker family and devvoted church members.

Kenny, I am truly sorry for your lost. I remember the night you two met. (Since I was the one who introduced you) I have always admired the connection you two had. May God continue to bless you as you go through this period of grief. Stay strong in your memories of Yvonne and cherish all of them.
