Konji,
Having you come into my life by marrying your Uncle Joe was truly a joy! My heart still ache and tears fill my eyes when I think of your sudden departure from this world. God knows what's best for us all and He has you where you should be this very moment. Frances (Mom) and Nisha (wife) I pray God continued blessings upon you daily His comforter will sustain you . My tour in Afghanistan caused me to miss Konji's homegoing, but to see his programme and the thank-you note from you all keeps his Awesome smile in the forfront of my memories. You were a True Joy and will be missed greatly!

Hi Sweet, everyday is still very hard for me. Your birthday would have been Monday, 4/12. I definitely don't like living life without you. Not one bit. Thank you for being SO easy to love. Your Lovely, Nisha

Hey Konji,
Just saw this on facebook. I am so vey upset. It's been so long since I seen you (UNC Charlotte). When we reconnecting on Facebook I thought that one day I would see you again. I am at such a lost for words. You will be greatly missed.

Hi Konji,
Today is April 1st, the first day of our birthmonth. It is just short of a year ago that we were celebrating together with our families at Rathbun Steak. You were such a gentleman and didn't even mention that it was YOUR birthday as well as mine. You were content to sit back and let me have my day. I was particularly touched by the way that you connected with my son, Kyle that weekend. You took him under your wing while I spent time chatting and catching up with Nisha. You treated him with such kindness and respect. He was completely taken with you and saw in you the man that he hopes to one day become. I remember that when we came home he kept talking about "Konji's big cheekbones". I laughed and said "He just has big cheeks because he has such a big smile" We will both truly miss that big smile. And while I'm shocked and saddened that we won't spend another birthday together, you can be sure that for this birthday and every one after, I will dry my eyes and raise a toast to a wonderful man, friend and husband to my friend, Nisha. Happy Birthday, Konji.
