Konji,
When I heard of your passing, I was deeply saddened; yet I am comforted that the Lord has taken you into his arms forevermore. I enjoyed our great friendship while we attended UNCC together, and I always think about those intense battles we had on the basketball court, you was always a WINNER to me, on and off the court. I will always miss you, rest in peace....and I will see you again on the court in Heaven- God Speed!!

Konji was a truly amazing young man. He was always lively and energetic. But he was also very thoughtful and supportive. He was incredibly well-rounded and provided happiness to all of his friends and family. I've known him from our days at 'Happy Days' nursery school through our years at UNC-Charlotte. He was always growing, yet the person never changed. Konji Harrison will truly be missed, but he's gone to a GREATER PLACE! We must take joy, simply in the fact that we were friends and family with Konji. God bless Konji, his wife, his mother and all of those who grieve from this loss.

Two weeks have passed and I still can't believe that you are truly gone. It is too soon to accept your untimely passing, but time will hopefully help heal your family and friends. Some things that I will miss: Your bright smile, your barbeque chicken with the Greek seasoning, your confidence while belting out country karaoke in dive bars, the Crawfish boil...and the list goes on. In the next life, we will all rejoice with a crawfish boil and your famous barbeque chicken up in heaven. In the meantime, rest in peace my friend...we miss you so much.
